Who the workshops are for
The workshops are for teams, SMEs and leadership who want to use AI in practice, from skilled-trades businesses to midsize companies and management. No technical background is needed.
Because I run every format in English or German, the workshops also suit international teams in Germany, English-speaking staff and companies with teams in Mallorca.
Not a fit if you need case-specific legal advice: I explain the rules in general terms (see Boundaries).
AI literacy under Article 4 of the EU AI Act
Since February 2025, Article 4 of the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689) has required providers and deployers of AI systems, which in practice means any company that uses AI, to take measures on AI literacy. Since the Digital Omnibus (Regulation (EU) 2026/1744, in force since July 27, 2026), a weakened version applies: companies must support the development of their staff's AI literacy but no longer have to ensure a specific level. The law does not prescribe a specific course or a minimum number of hours.
It still makes sense to organize training in a traceable way and to document it. This is general information, not legal advice. More detail: AI literacy under Article 4 after the Digital Omnibus.
How a workshop works, in four steps
Free preliminary call
In 20 to 30 minutes, you and I clarify goals, prior knowledge, industry, setting and language. No obligation, so that I know what your team really needs.
Tailored concept
You get an agenda adapted to your daily work, not an off-the-shelf program. Modules, examples and pace fit your team, not the other way around.
The workshop
Interactive, with live demos and exercises on real examples from your company. No lecturing: your team works along from the first hour.
Follow-up
A cheat sheet, a tool list and the most important prompts to take away. On request, a follow-up session after a few weeks to answer questions from practice.
Who runs the workshops? Practice instead of slide theory
Marcel Gautsche, based in Stuttgart and Mallorca, has been building automated trading systems and trading bots for MetaTrader 5 (MQL5) and Interactive Brokers (Python) for more than 10 years, and runs AI workshops and AI training for companies (more than 50 so far).
I'm a quant developer. For more than 10 years I have been building automation systems that have to work under real pressure: in algorithmic trading, a model has to hold up with real money, not in a pilot project. Since 2022/23, AI has been my second focus. I bring this practice into every workshop: no abstract theory, but tools your team can use the next day.
I explain AI without jargon and always with your own processes. Where companies need to go deeper, I work with Crowd Solution GmbH and other specialized partners. My aim: you and your team should leave the workshop not with notes, but with routines that stick. More about me →
Beyond training: AI consulting
If you want AI implemented rather than just learned, I also advise companies on implementing AI in their processes: AI audits, process automation and custom AI assistants, where needed together with specialized partners such as Crowd Solution GmbH. The detailed service page is currently in German: AI consulting (German).
Pricing
Depends on group size, duration and scope; individual quote after a free preliminary call. Formats range from a half-day impulse workshop to a multi-day onboarding. The preliminary call is free and without obligation.
Boundaries
Workshops are training and general information. They are not legal advice: for specific legal questions, for example about the GDPR or the EU AI Act in your case, please consult a lawyer or your data protection officer.
I build software. I don't manage money, trade on client accounts, sell signals or strategies, promise returns, or give investment, tax or legal advice. Trading decisions and the decision to go live remain yours.
Frequently asked questions about AI workshops
Do you run AI workshops in English?
Yes. I run all workshop formats in English or German, on-site or remote. The language is agreed in the preliminary call.
Who are the AI workshops for?
For teams, SMEs and leadership who want to use AI in practice, from skilled-trades businesses to midsize companies and management. No technical background is needed.
How much experience do you have with AI workshops?
I have run more than 50 AI workshops. On top of that, I have been building automated trading systems for more than 10 years, so I know AI and automation from use under real conditions, not just from slides.
Can you run the workshop at our office in Stuttgart, in Mallorca or remotely?
Yes. In Stuttgart and the surrounding region I come to your company, and I also run workshops on-site in Mallorca. Elsewhere in Germany, workshops are possible on-site by arrangement or remotely.
How many participants can take part?
The impulse workshop is designed for up to 12 people so that everyone can keep up. The AI onboarding for SMEs is aimed at whole teams or departments, and executive coaching is 1:1.
Which tools and topics do you cover?
AI basics without jargon, the right tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot), prompt engineering, AI in everyday work, data protection and the EU AI Act, and concrete use cases from your own company.
Can you tailor the workshop to our industry and team?
Yes. Every workshop is adapted to your industry, prior knowledge and goals, from a two-hour session at a team event to a multi-part training series. In the preliminary call, you and I agree on which processes and examples from your daily work take center stage.
Is AI literacy training mandatory under the EU AI Act?
The law does not prescribe a specific training course. Article 4 of the EU AI Act requires companies that use AI to take measures on AI literacy. Since the Digital Omnibus (Regulation (EU) 2026/1744, in force since July 27, 2026), companies must support the development of their staff's AI literacy but no longer have to ensure a specific level. This is general information, not legal advice.
How is the price determined?
Depends on group size, duration and scope; individual quote after a free preliminary call. Formats range from a half-day impulse workshop to a multi-day onboarding.
Tell me briefly about your company and what you want to achieve, and I'll get back to you with a suggested workshop format. The preliminary call is free and without obligation.
