How it works
Each question draws one of eight shapes: uptrend, downtrend, head and shoulders, double top, double bottom, bull flag, ascending triangle or sideways range. The price path is built from an idealized template plus a little random noise, so no two charts look exactly alike. You get four answers, the correct one and three others drawn at random. After you pick one, the correct answer is highlighted and the next chart follows about a second later. Points count your correct answers; the hit rate is points divided by questions. Pure guessing averages 25%.
The charts are textbook shapes, deliberately cleaner than real prices. In live markets patterns are rarely this clear, they often look obvious only in hindsight, and two traders may label the same chart differently. Recognizing a shape also says nothing about what comes next. Whether a pattern has any statistical edge can only be checked with clearly coded rules, enough historical data and realistic costs. The quiz trains your eye; it is not a trading signal and not a forecast.
